Role Overview:

Working in the QHSE team reporting to the QHSE Manager this role is part of the team responsible for ensuring that all Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements for the supply of products and services from the ENVEA Cambridge site meet the high standards expected by the business, its customers, and wider stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Administer the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental system to ensure continued compliance with international standards including ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.

Provide support for all external notified body audits, supporting authorized and responsible people within the business, ensuring any opportunities for improvement or non-conformance raised are addressed effectively.

Plan schedule and undertake Quality, H&S, and Environmental Internal Audits.

Record and define actions following internal or external audits including entering, updating and follow up of all Corrective Action Reports (CAR).

Support investigations into Quality and Environmental non-conformances and Health and Safety incidents.

Provide support to the Supply Chain team in planning and conducting Supplier and Subcontractor Audits.

Manage and maintain procedures and controlled documentation within ENVEA’s Business Management System in support of departmental managers.

Write, develop, and update existing Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Systems of Work (SSW), including in support of the UK Field Service Manager for work conducted on customer sites.

Evaluate Risk Assessments and Method Statements of contractors working on site ensuring satisfactory controls in are in place before work on site begins.

Be an active member of the H&S committee ensuring feedback from representatives across the business is actively managed.

Coordinate and provide training on all relevant aspects of QHSE to new starters, existing employees, and third parties as appropriate.

Support Management System Reviews with the Senior Management team in line with the company’s Quality, H&S and Environmental Policies ensuring agreed actions are recorded and tracked to completion

Experience:

Has worked in Quality Control in a manufacturing business

Ideally experience of both being audited and performing audits in a manufacturing business

Experience in administering QHSE management systems desirable

Experience in assessing risk and implementing suitable controls in a manufacturing setting

Understanding of the standards and requirements to maintain compliance to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001

Qualifications:

Relevant H&S qualifications such as IOSH or equivalent

Experience in internal and external auditing would be desirable
