Reed Accountancy and Finance Norwich are proud to be working exclusively with a Norwich based company to recruit for a Company Accountant to join this growing business to build and manage the finance function.
As the successful candidate will be working closely with the managing director, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance candidate with strong management accounting and reporting skills to join an exciting and growing business and play a fundamental part in its development.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Complete month-end processes and produce monthly Management Accounts.
Prepare budgets and report on variances.
Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
Perform weekly bank reconciliations and liaise with the bank.
Manage staff and contractor payroll, including monthly and weekly pension submissions.
Submit quarterly Group VAT data to accountants, review, and process payments.
Raise sales invoices and manage credit control.
Assist in staff recruitment, management, and development as the company grows.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
Process and pay supplier invoices.
Monitor performance against financial targets and recommend actions.
Continuously improve finance department processes to meet changing business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Part or fully qualified accountant.
Experience in management accounting.
Payroll experience.
Proficiency in cloud accounting software.
