Duties:
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Updating the system Min/Max Systems.
Working with the stores team ensuring regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy on packaging, printed items and labels.
Material Planning and Procurement:
Collaborate with production planners and procurement teams to forecast material requirements.
Generate purchase orders when requested. Coordinate on procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials. Managing and placing purchase orders and requisitions as requested.
Managing the Free Issue of materials to suppliers, raising paperwork and coordinating shipments.
Supplier Coordination:
Communicate with suppliers regarding material deliveries, discrepancies, and quality issues.
Resolve supplier-related issues and address any delivery delays or shortages.
