Legal Secretary
Part time Secretarial support for a Director with a bias on residential conveyancing. Candidates should be computer literate and capable of working independently. Experience in residential conveyancing is essential with knowledge of probate, power of attorney and wills matters being an advantage.
Duties include audio-typing, telephone duties to take initial messages for solicitor and provide updates to clients and estate agents, meeting and greeting clients in reception occasionally dealing with updates face to face. General administrative duties are also part of the role.
Good communication skills required with clients, other solicitor and other third parties in a professional courteous and timely manner by telephone, email and in person.
Demonstrate ability to maintain client confidentiality and to promote and preserve the goodwill of the firm.
Salary dependent upon skills and experience.
Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 5pm. (21hrs.pw)
Unpaid lunch break of 1 hour.
Normal Place of Work - 8 Blake Street, York, YO1 8XJ
Holiday - 12 days per year plus public holidays
Start Date -ASAP
Probationary Period - Period of 3 months from the start date with a review to take place at 1 month.
