As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education to students. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Job Duties of a HLTA:
Assisting with planning and preparing engaging lessons
Supporting individual and small groups of students in their learning
Providing feedback to teachers on student progress
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Supervising students during lessons and break times
Required Qualifications:
Recognised HLTA qualification
Enhanced DBS check
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills of HLTA:
Experience working in a classroom setting
Experience working with SEND children
Strong behaviour management skills
Good understanding of the national curriculum
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in relation to those with SEN
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
First Aid certification
Additional relevant teaching assistant qualifications
Working Conditions:
Temporary position with Full-Time hours
Work within a supportive educational environment
