Join this successful and growing company

In this role you will be collaborating with other highly knowledgeable engineers, designing custom ICs and FPGAs using Verilog / SystemVerilog and Xilinx’s FPGA development tools. The devices you design will be used to control small but complex electro-mechanical systems to a high degree of accuracy.

You will be working in a friendly and innovative company whose products and technologies have been used in mass produced consumer products around the globe. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package including global travel opportunities and private health insurance.

Knowledge of both IC and FPGA design is crucial as this company prototypes and tests their ICs using FPGAs, an important aspect of the design process and one you will be involved in. A hands-on attitude is key as you can just as easily find yourself building or using test rigs as you can designing circuits behind a computer screen.

You will need:

• Strong Verilog and SystemVerilog skills including previous experience with design and verification of ICs / FPGAs / ASICs

• Specific knowledge of Xilinx FPGA development tools

• Good knowledge of communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI and USB

• General Python scripting skills, ideally in the areas of testing frameworks, build scripts and CI/CD automation
