Accounts Assistant

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a company in Liversedge who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their small and friendly team. This is a full-time and permanent position working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour’s lunch (35 hours per week). Salary: Up to £25K (depending on experience)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger: input purchase invoices, purchase ledger payments, close off purchase ledger
Sales Ledger: send invoices and statements, S/L close off and invoicing
Process BACS payments
Deal with customer/supplier account queries
Create, prepare, and reconcile suppler monthly payment runs/statements
Maintain customer/supplier accounts
Provide support for the accounts team in relation to customer account payments
Process new supplier credit applications and set up new supplier accounts
Additional ad hoc admin duties
You will need to demonstrate:
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Great time management and organisational skills
High degree of confidentiality
Previous experience in a similar role
Opera experience (desirable)
