Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students, fostering their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and exploration of literature.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying abilities and learning styles.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular activities and projects that enhance the learning experience.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in English or a related field.
Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a proven track record of helping students achieve their full potential.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for English, including assessment criteria and examination requirements.
