Requirements:
ACCA / ACA qualified or nearly qualified
Recent experience working in a UK accountancy firm, preparing year end accounts, VAT returns, and financial statements.
At least 3+ years' experience working in a similar accountancy practice.
Experience preparing statutory accounts for a variety of clients, preparing VAT returns and completing corporation tax.
Experience managing a portfolio of varied clients, either within a team or independently.
Proficient in the use of accounting software programmes such as IRIS, Xero, Sage
Duties:
Prepare statutory and management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients using Iris.
Preparing annual and quarterly VAT and CIS returns and corporation tax.
Complete general bookkeeping for all clients.
Review the bookkeeping, management accounts, annual accounts and tax returns to make sure they are as accurate as possible.
Preparation of budgets and forecasts on behalf of clients
