Job Purpose
Preparation and finalisation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies.
Preparation of tax computations for the same portfolio.
Review of VAT returns prepared by the client.
Leading audits for Limited companies.
Supervising junior staff, including review working and knowledge sharing.
Build trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries.
Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities.
Work directly with the Manager to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.

The Successful Applicant
ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience in practice.
Or AAT qualified and studying towards ACA/ACCA or with a desire to begin study.
Study support can be provided where needed for the right candidate.
Experience leading audits from planning to completion.
Adept at the preparation of statutory accounts.
A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously.
Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable.
Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen.
A can-do attitude and a proactive problem solver.
