About the Role:
You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing Network-based solutions while ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the network.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud networking architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, gateways, and other networking components in the cloud.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate networking infrastructure with cloud applications and services.
Implement network security measures to safeguard cloud resources from unauthorised access and data breaches.
Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and optimise configurations for high availability and low latency.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, perform root cause analysis, and minimise downtime.
Develop and maintain documentation for cloud network infrastructure.
Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate new networking technologies.
Collaborate with service providers to implement and integrate new networking solutions.
Participate in capacity planning to accommodate future growth and workload demand.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience with Meraki SD WAN, Meraki Wireless, Cisco ACI Networks, Palo Alto firewalls, VPN Global protect, and Legacy Cisco switch and WLC.
Deep understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, including networking services.
Strong proficiency in network configuration and management tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills in distributed cloud environments.
Knowledge of network security concepts and best practices.
Familiarity with software-defined networking and network virtualisation.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or equivalent, are a plus.
Desirable Qualities:
· Experience with Microsoft Team Telephony with Direct Routing SBC.
· Degree educated in Computer Science related field or equivalent experience.
· Experience working with Nutanix HCI, and Cloudflare services.
Work Environment:
Our collaborative workspace expects regular office engagement, with flexibility to work 1 day per week at our Kings Cross location.
