JetMS Completions is an Aircraft Interiors company based at Biggin Hill Kent. Its main objective is to supply Design, Certification, Manufacture and Installation of commercial and VVIP aircraft interiors to the aviation industry.
The purpose of the Operations Manager is to provide leadership to all manufacturing and production staff within JetMs Completions. This position is a “Form 4 Nominated Post Holder” position.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, a key element to this role is to implement and maintain a Safety Management System and to ensure that all work carried out is completed in accordance with our internal procedures and to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Form 1 Signatory
Business analysis
Production oversight, including supply chain, planning & inspection.
Support quality & compliance management
Reporting to MD
Review and administration of Factory Master
Provide guidance and mentoring
Embed Project Management fundamentals
Embed capacity planning
Identify training needs within direct team and provide coaching and development where needed
Co-ordination with Production, Purchasing, Design, Stores and Quality.
Compliance with company procedures
Control of overtime, annual leave, absences and attendance
Support sales team in generating accurate quotations
Develop and maintain a Capacity Plan to ensure we have the required resources to complete contracted projects
Liaison and expediting sub-contractors and suppliers
Computer literate with experience of MRP systems (Factory Master – Preferred)
Preparation of management reports
Understanding Engineering Drawings
Using CMM and equivalent aircraft data
Knowledge & Qualifications:
A good academic standard of education & previous experience gained in similar or related environment.
Awareness and practical understanding of Safety Management Systems.
Working knowledge of International and National Civil Aviation legislation, EASA, FAA, CAA, part 145, EASA 21 Sub Part G & J.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office packages, sharepoint experience advantageous.
Awareness of company finances and how to build and maintain project budgets.

Aviation related Engineering Qualifications
Project Management training (preferred)
Ability to gain approval for Form 1 signatory, and Form 4 NPH.
Working knowledge of UK HR regulations.
Working Knowledge of SMS (Safety Management Systems)
