Trafalgar Theatres is the venue-operating division of TE. We currently operate 16 venues; including 14 in the UK regions; the Trafalgar Theatre in Londons West End and the Theatre Royal in Sydney. ABOUT THIS ROLE
The kitchen team at G Live are vital to the success of our business. The postholder plays a pivotal role in the?smooth-running food operation to achieve success. Day to day working alongside the Kitchen Supervisor and Group Support Chefs on larger scaled events. Our venue boasts a full kitchen operation with the benefit to the Cooks of very few late nights. The postholder will work 5 out of 7 days, with minimal Sunday commitments.
As the postholder is responsible for:
Successfully managing food production including delivering on time and maintaining consistent food standards, and quality across all areas of the venues food offer.
Deliver a Grab n Go style offer, daytime café, and catered events.
Food preparation and cooking, receiving, and storing food and beverage deliveries.
Ensure all operational areas are properly prepared and stocked for every service, cleaning the kitchen effectively.
Ensure all equipment within the operation is adequately maintained through monitoring, due care, and diligence.
Support the monthly stock take process through effective preparation and valuation.
Meet budgeted cost-of-sale targets through accurate method and recipe comprehension.
Control waste and loss through good storage and handling principles.
Constantly seek ways to improve sustainability within the kitchen environment to contribute towards the venue's Environmental Strategy Delivery Plan

A self-starter, enthusiastic and capable of delivering a range of menus, youll be high-spirited, proactive, results-focussed, and creative in your approach.
Youll be resilient, able to communicate clearly and excellent at forming working relationships with others.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In collaboration with the Hospitality General Manager and Kitchen Supervisor, meet overall business, profit and service targets through understanding and developing the venues visions and aims.
Adopt a reactive and flexible approach to planning, prioritizing, and implementing day to day kitchen administration duties relevant to the job role.
Ensure appropriate quality control measures and hygiene practices are at all times implemented and achieved in accordance with health and safety legislation and Company policy.
Ensure the venue always strives to achieve and maintain a 5-star EHO food safety rating.
