Our clients client basis include several blue-chip companies in the commercial, custodial, residential, retail, financial, healthcare and hotel & leisure sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to join their established team, delivering design and technical information using AutoCAD and Revit / BIM across a range of projects.
Senior Architectural Technologist Position Overview
Lead projects including liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors
Manage a small team as well as being able to work independently with minimal supervision
Manage and coordinate the design team / other design consultants
Produce drawings and documentation as required using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, individually and in collaboration with the technical team
Be responsible for the preparation and coordination of detailed design and production information including drawings and documents for tender packages and construction drawings
Monitor quality and coordination of drawing information ensuring project delivery in line with programme
Ensure compliance with office quality standards
Responsible for the management and administration of the project
Provide leadership to Architectural Assistants / Technicians that form part of the team including setting clear deadlines, identifying, and managing risks, cost control and communication
Contribute to the design and construction process
Attend client meetings
Attend design team meetings
Input to bid submissions where required
Senior Architectural Technologist Position Requirements
Relevant degree/background
Good Revit/AutoCAD knowledge
Live within a commutable distance of Cardiff
Good knowledge at all RIBA Stages
Able to lead teams
Confident in front of clients
Senior Architectural Technologist Position Remuneration
Competitive salary (£38,000 - £50,000 DOE)
