This role is perfect for an experienced leader with a proven track record in Design and Technology, specifically Product Design and/or Engineering, who is seeking a new challenge and whole school responsibility.
Day to Day of the role: Lead the delivery of the Design and Technology curriculum, with a focus on Product Design and Engineering.
Work closely with the senior leadership team on curriculum and teaching and learning strategies.
Influence teaching, assessment, and extra-curricular activities within the Technology department.
Support the Head of Department in implementing the curriculum and driving departmental success.
Engage with students to master an ambitious Design and Technology curriculum.
Utilise purpose-built workshops equipped with industry-standard technology to enhance learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications: A proven track record of excellence in Design and Technology, specifically Product Design and/or Engineering.
Leadership experience with the ability to influence and inspire others.
High levels of emotional intelligence, professional integrity, and a reflective approach to teaching.
Ambition and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
