Behaviour Mentor | Walsall, WS2 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our partner primary school located in the Walsall area. You will have the rewarding opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development and success of students who need additional support during their educational journeys. The school is looking for you to join them on a full time basis from September, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1-1 support to a student with special educational needs
Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and deliver support by developing strategies that promote positive behavioural outcomes
Encourage active participation and engagement with learning
Support students with their overall wellbeing by delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development
The ideal candidate will:
Experience of managing challenging behaviours and good knowledge of behaviour management strategies
Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential
