Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join our engineering client's team.The ideal candidate will have expertise in both Siemens and Fanuc controls, with a strong background in offline programming.This role involves operating and maintaining CNC machinery, ensuring precision, and adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities: Programming and Setup: Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Siemens and Fanuc controls.
Set up CNC machines, ensuring correct tooling, fixtures, and material is selected.
Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed.
Operation: Operate CNC mills or lathes to produce precision components.
Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments during production runs.
Maintain quality standards and meet tight tolerances.
Offline Programming: Utilize offline programming software to develop and simulate CNC programs.
Optimize tool paths, reduce cycle times, and improve efficiency.
Health and Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Report any safety concerns promptly.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator.
Familiarity with both Siemens and Fanuc controls.
Offline programming expertise.
Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret specifications.
Proficiency in using measuring equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Education: GCSEs or equivalent (additional technical certifications preferred).
