Mediq UK are a supplier of healthcare consumables, healthcare equipment, cleaning, and hygiene products, as well as healthcare devices to hospitals, care homes, and other facilities serving the healthcare sector in the UK.
We are recruiting for a Territory Manager to join our wholesale team, this is a field based role but can be based at our new site in Castle Donington.
As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for producing a business plan and sales growth pipeline for customer portfolios to achieve annual sales and margin targets in conjunction with the Sales Director.
You will manage customer relationships to achieve and exceed regional sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Produce business plan and sales growth pipeline for customer portfolio to achieve annual sales and margin targets in conjunction with Sales Director
Achieve Business plan & Budget targets
Work with Credit Control to ensure customers comply with terms and conditions of trading.
Address low and negative margins within the territory
Manage a portfolio of customers
Constantly seek new opportunities to expand the portfolio and increase margin
Prospecting new customers and regaining lost business
Working with suppliers and own brand offering
Drive Mediq Own brand where appropriate to drive more profitable sales
Monitor sales performance and activity levels and produce monthly report detailing key result areas.
Maintain appropriate records on clients and sales activities. Produce reports as required to the management team for review, and complete any customer reporting that may be required within required timescales.
Maintain and grow existing portfolio by regular interaction with customers to achieve agreed financial targets (Sales and Margin)
Manage stock levels and customer forecasting with a view to a strong customer OTIF
Calling on customers on a regular basis, providing quotes and ensuring that enquiries and issues are followed up in a timely manner.
Maintain price files and advising customers of increases, managing expectations to ensure business is retained
Consider EHS implication of any sales for operational staff
Maintain any company provided vehicle in a roadworthy condition, ensuring at all times it reflects positively on the company image;
Drive in accordance with the Highway Code at all times
Follow identified safe working practices
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Territory Manager who has experience in Wholesale B2B who has a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets. This role is field based so you will be expected to travel and meet frequently with the sales team.
It would also be great if you have:
Experience in the healthcare sector, however this is not essential
