Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Executive – Nottingham - Legal 500 Law Firm- 3PQE +- Hybrid
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an 3+PQE Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a recognised Residential Property team based in Nottingham. My client is looking for a solicitor or someone with 3+ years post qualification experience who has a solid background in Residential Property matters , who wishes to make a move into this exciting and continually growing area.
Responsibilities
Manage your own caseload, including sales, purchases, transfers and re-mortgages of residential leasehold and freehold property (registered, unregistered, new builds)
Carry out lease extensions and auction transactions
Supervise junior fee earners and support staff
Manage and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and introducers
Comply with all internal and external audits
Share information and best practice with colleagues wherever possible
Follow the firm's detailed policies and procedures
Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements
Skills and experience
·Extensive and sound experience of working in residential conveyancing, including the more complex aspects
· Working knowledge of referral arrangements and strong awareness of compliance issues
·Business development skills
·IT literate with an understanding and willingness to pioneer and embrace system development to build efficiencies
·Experience of building relationships with both new and existing clients and professionals
