Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the water framework project. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project that will have a lasting impact on the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Conduct site surveys, set out construction works, and ensure accurate measurements and levels.

Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of site activities.

Identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that may arise during construction.

Implement quality control procedures and ensure all work meets the required standards.

Promote and enforce health and safety protocols on site to maintain a safe working environment.

Liaise with local authorities, clients, and the public to address any concerns or requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience as a Site Engineer in water infrastructure or similar projects.

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.

Proficiency in using surveying instruments and software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Valid UK driving license.
