Exciting opportunity for a personable and proactive Sales Manager to join this branded 4* hotel based in London. This full service property has 200+ rooms with 8 meeting rooms.
As Sales Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships ensuring maximum profitability for the hotel.
Key duties will include:
Proactively uncover new prospects for the Hotel and maximise conversion of business in line with the hotel’s budgetary goals.
Organise and plan client meetings, fam trips, site inspections, sales blitzes, mailings, giveaways, and other new creative activities to establish and maintain a healthy client relationship and generate business.
Lead, train, motivate, and mentor a sales team of three, fostering a high-performance culture that achieves sales targets and objectives.
Respond, convert, and contract MICE/Groups inquiries.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have:
A background in hotel sales with experience from the groups, M&E and corporate sectors.
Experience from within a London 4* hotel
A positive and pro-active personality with a passion for developing existing client relationships
Previous team management experience, with a focus on supportive and developing team members.
