We are seeking a Principal Developer to play a pivotal role in the high-quality performance of our SAAS-based product. This position involves hands-on development and leadership, ensuring robust, performant, and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will be a driving force in our technical strategy, leading system architecture discussions, and upholding the highest standards in solution delivery.
Day to Day of the role:
Engage in hands-on development across a varied product suite.
Set the technical direction and provide mentorship to team members across all levels.
Adhere to and promote the company’s SDLC using scrum/kanban methodologies.
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the design, documentation, and coding of solutions.
Work closely with the Product Owner and Development Manager to align development with product strategy and coding standards.
Lead project discussions, understanding technical requirements to ensure successful sprint/product delivery.
Coordinate with the professional services team on customer-driven application developments, which may include site visits.
Engage with stakeholders and exert influence to drive project success.
Assist with team inductions, training, and recruitment as needed.
Proactively address technical impediments to enhance team efficiency.
Collaborate with technical partners on integrations and maintain them as required.
Provide support and maintenance for the code base and attend quarterly company reviews.
Personal Skills:
Proven track record in implementing best practices and leading technical strategies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with various team members and stakeholders.
Experience in code review and providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
