Technical Application Support Manager

An award-winning organization in the logistics industry in the UK is seeking a Technical Application Support Manager to join their expanding IT and engineering divisions.
This role would be contributing to a variety of new projects as well as giving the opportunity to build and lead new Application Support Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for provisioning technical support capabilities for Microsoft-specific technologies such as .NET, ASP, SQL Server, T-SQL, Web services and Web applications
Hands-on to lead, coach, support and delegate technical experience to a team of application support specialists, always looking to build capability within the team
Developing and implementing risk management and a risk-based approach to service management
Some experience in leading a team as part of a service desk or incident operation response
Develop training plans for new hires in the expanding team and continue to improve training for current staff
Requirements:
7+ years of experience of technical competency within as many of the following as possible: Windows Server operating systems, ASP.NET applications, ASP.NET hosting environments, .NET applications, REST APIs, MS SQL servers and Azure
Keen documentation skills
Experience and competency in managing a team with great relationship management skills
Fluent or excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
Must have the right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship or visas
This role would be working on a Hybrid basis from the Liverpool area with the standard being 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home (this can be discussed).
