Head of Sales

Aramark UK have a unique and brand-new opportunity for a highly motivated Head of Sales to join the team working predominantly on site at one of our key North West accounts.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Head of Sales will have responsibility for all non-event day strategy and for co-ordinating and managing the entire meetings, workspace, incentives, conference & events sales function within the contract. This person will be a key part of the Aramark senior team on site alongside the Culinary, Finance, HR and Operational leads.
This is a full time and permanent position which will be based in the North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a Sales plan to meet commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities:
To create and implement an annual sales strategy and achieve agreed commercial targets
Manage all non-event day sales activities
Work with internal teams to support all recruitment activity for your team
Host site visits and attend networking events, trade shows and exhibitions
Work with key partners to develop and create event marketing collateral as required and all associated costs
Being able to generate significant income yourself as well as manage a team and the overall sales strategy
Negotiable external promoters and partners to bring new business
Network, build, and maintain relationships with a view to securing new business.
Lead, manage and develop a successful and experienced team to achieve business goals
Accurately forecast pipeline and confirmed business on the books
Provide regular financial and activity-based sales reports to the SLT
Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the key stakeholders
Promote a professional image of Aramark at all times both internally and externall
You'll be set up for success if you have:
Experience within the hospitality/ event sales industry
Commercially aware, keyed into changes within the industry with a proven ability to develop new business, increase revenue and maximise yield performance
Ability to share passion for our business with our clients, to communicate a vision and build meaningful, long-term relationships
A passion for food and excellence in customer service
Competent in developing budgets, delivering accurate monthly sales forecasts and managing costs.
