Head of Operations - Housing Disrepair - Salary up to £60,000
The Role
This is a superb opportunity to join a leading Top 100 UK law firm specialising in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims.
Due to the development and expansion of the firm it is now seeking to appoint an Operations Manager/Head of Operations in their Housing Disrepair team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Solicitor/Litigator/Fee Earner who is looking to move into a more operational based role. You will work directly with Head of Departments and board level members to report findings and interpret Management information.
You will ensure the company key performance indicators are fit for purpose and interpret performance against the set KPI’s and objectives.
You will work closely with team leads in identifying training and staff development needs.
Responsibilities to include:
Analyse and interpret performance against KPI’s and objectives.
Work in collaboration with senior managers to identify areas of underperformance and suggest solutions to address the same.
Maintain and improve employees’ performance in line with an organisation’s objectives.
Keep under review Key Performance Indicators to ensure fit for purpose.
Focus on accountability and transparency and foster a clear understanding of expectations.
Work in collaboration with the Performance Manager, IT and the Management Information team to develop intuitive and innovative tools and software to enhance performance visibility and management.
Annalyse data to identify areas for improvement and trends and efficiency gains,
Sample audit cases to identify risks, underperformance, and efficiency gains.
Produce coherent reports daily, weekly and monthly highlighting areas of good, average and under performance.
Undertake any other tasks as deemed relevant and reasonable by the business.
About You:
Ideally, come from a legal background with a good understanding of legal principles.
Ability to interpret data and conduct case reviews.
Good sound judgement and commercial awareness.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to organise and prioritise a day’s work.
Experience in using Excel.
Competent working with a case management system and have a good knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
