Our client is a leading developer and manufacturer of engineering solutions for a variety of process industries. They have an enviable reputation, built over a 60-year history, for quality, their customer-centric approach and continual investment in research and development. They have an international presence with sales and distribution offices in mainland Europe.
Having a long-serving board of directors, they are currently seeking a high-performing General Manager to take responsibility ultimate responsibility for the business performance. You will be tasked with defining and implementing the growth strategy across the business to capitalise on the excellent position the business is in and its potential for considerable growth, whilst also maintaining the tight-knit team ethic of the existing team as the business grows.
This role requires a leader who possesses an in-depth knowledge of manufacturing, ideally metal fabrication. There is the opportunity to implement lean manufacturing techniques across the business to accelerate their growth, therefore the successful individual should have previous experience implementing successful lean manufacturing within a project-based manufacturing environment. Alongside the manufacturing you will also oversee all commercial activities across the business to ensure key strategic growth for the business.
