Role Overview:
The Delegate Sales Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team who are assisting clients throughout the awards entry process, generating leads for awards programmes, and selling attendance to awards events.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team who identifies and researches potential participants for awards programs.
• Proactively reach out to past and potential participants to promote attendance at our awards events.
• Supervise sales calls and meetings to showcase the benefits and value of entering and attending our awards events.
• Act as a trusted advisor and resource for clients, providing guidance on maximizing their awards entry and event attendance opportunities.
Coach and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience leading a team in Delegate Sales.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
