My Client is expanding and are seeking a Sales Ledger Clerk to join our Finance Team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for finance to grow and develop within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining an organised and up-to-date Sales Ledger and ensuring the financial health of our client base.
Day to Day of the role: Maintain an organised and up-to-date Sales Ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
Set up new customer accounts and maintain precise contact records.
Take responsibility for the preparation of month-end sales invoices with full reconciliation to the Nominal Ledger.
Manage credit control, ensuring payment terms are adhered to and report aged debtor status to the Finance Manager monthly.
Proactively engage with AP Managers to resolve customer invoice discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in Finance is essential.
AAT qualification or equivalent is required.
Experience with Sales Ledger is beneficial.
Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage own responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
Professional communication skills for clear and concise information conveyance via email and phone.
Willingness to learn and develop personal skills.
Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
