We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. BASIC SALARY: £55,000 - £65,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Electrical Design Engineer - Renewable Energy, Photovoltaic
As our dynamic electrical design engineer, you'll tackle a wide array of responsibilities spanning multiple sustainable/renewable energy initiatives, your duties will include: · Design Photovoltaic (PV), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and High Voltage Power Systems.· Create all drawings and schedules, conduct grid connection studies and feasibility assessments.· Site surveys and client meetings, offer technical support, produce reports, and manage projects from concept to completion.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Electrical Design Engineer - Renewable Energy, Photovoltaic
· You MUST be an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, ideally with experience in Photovoltaic / Battery Energy Storage Systems (PV/BESS) theory or HV/Power systems. (both would be advantageous).· You MUST be a qualified Electrical Engineer ideally with experience of using AutoCAD and other PV-specific CAD tools (We use PVSYST here).· Understanding MV/HV AC distribution systems and project management/design experience in large/commercial-scale Photovoltaic (PV) installations is a key requirement too.
