Position Summary:
This role will require you to manage a team of up to 10 Transactional Accountants as we are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead our U.K and Ireland Real Estate services within Finance Operations. As a part of the team you will be overseeing payments for both owned and leased real estate, and collaborating with franchisees.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate financial reporting related to real estate accounting
Managing and developing a team on 10 transactional accountants
Handle lease payments and financial transactions
Collaborate with the market on strategic initiatives
Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and company policies
Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Participate in or lead projects across departments
Qualifications:
Proven ability to lead and develop others and manage a large team
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
Minimum of 7 years in qualifying accounting work.
Ideally you will have strong leadership abilities as well as managing the relationship with internal and external key customers.
