Key responsibilities:
To be a point of contact for drivers and customers.
Monitor the status of the deliveries on our transport management system and liaise with third-party couriers.
Tracking vehicles
Ensuring that customer enquiries are dealt with in a professional, timely and competent manner – mostly proof of Delivery paperwork and Estimated Time of Arrival requests.
Liaising with internal and external departments.
Debriefing drivers.
Preparing manifests for the drivers for the next day.
Skills:
Be a confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
Have strong administrative skills.
Be PC literate with the ability to adapt to a wide variety of tasks.
Can work well under pressure.
Experience in a similar role preferred – full training will be given.
