Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Glasgow

The Client
Our client is the world leading underwater capability provider, serving the market with innovative diving, submarine, hyperbaric rescue services and technical solutions.
You will provide engineering design solutions and through life engineering support to the product range.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering design input to products by assessing technical queries and providing engineering solutions.
Source suitable components/materials when required and creation of part numbers and bill of materials.
Create engineering documentation (specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures, certification, reports)
Checking detailed electrical drawings and documentation
Ensure engineering solutions are provided on time and on budget.
Accountability and responsibility as technical checker of drawings and documentation generated in support of the Electrical Engineer role.
Qualifications
3+ years electrical and electronics design experience
Skilled in generating design calculations.
Proven experience with engineering design software tools /CAD packages.
Knowledge of design standards.
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management system
Desired: design experience (particularly DC system)
Desired: Electrical & Electronics engineering degree or similar
