We are working with an industry leading distribution company based in Bedford, and we're currently seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Dispatch Operatives. As a Dispatch Operative, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of goods to customers, utilising your expertise with LLOP (Low Level Order Picker) equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating LLOP equipment to pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately.
Loading goods onto delivery vehicles in accordance with dispatch schedules.
Performing quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Utilising warehouse management systems to track inventory and update order status.
Collaborating with team members to meet daily dispatch targets and deadlines.
Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.
Requirements:
Valid LLOP licence and experience operating LLOP equipment is essential.
Previous experience in a dispatch or warehouse environment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as required.
