We have a new opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Legal Secretary to provide support to a busy commercial property department of a Lexcel and CQS accredited, Legal 500-listed law firm, based on the outskirts of Coventry. Own transport is essential due to the office location. Free parking is available on site.
The role will involv e :
Provision of secretarial and administrative support to a busy commercial property team
Preparing correspondence and legal documents through audio typing and copy typing
Using the land registry portal
Liaising with clients in person, via email and via telephone
Using a legal case management system
Suitable candidates will have:
Sound working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Previous experience working as a commercial property secretary for a law firm
Experience of using a legal case management system
Experience of using the land registry portal
An understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements including CML, CQS, SRA and anti-money laundering
This is a full-time permanent job working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is fully office-based and is offered with free parking on site and a range of benefits including:
5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays and additional paid leave at Christmas
Company pension scheme
Death in service benefits 3 x annual salary
Full induction programme
Ongoing training and development with regular reviews
