Who are we looking for?
Camarade seeks a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. Your role will cover both internal and client-facing duties, focusing on the ongoing maintenance and support of SAP HR/Payroll systems, SuccessFactors instances, and their integrations with various third-party systems. Leveraging your technical expertise in SAP Basis administration, system configuration, and troubleshooting, you'll play a pivotal role in deploying HR & Payroll projects to meet client requirements. Our diverse client base will expose you to a broad spectrum of Basis, support, and integration projects across different platforms. We value candidates who are keen to learn and capable of acquiring new skills efficiently, including adapting to the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Required Education:
· Higher education degree or diploma in an IT or software development related field
Preferred Skills:
· Proficient in supporting and maintaining SAP ECC/ECP and SAP PI/PO environments.
· Comprehensive SAP Basis knowledge, including system patching, user management, performance tuning, transport management, monitoring, authorisations, and troubleshooting.
· Experience with server OS support and troubleshooting across Windows Server and Linux.
· Knowledgeable in networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
· Familiarity with data and network security practices, including firewalls and encryption technologies (SSL/PGP).
Desired Skills:
· Experience in technical support for SuccessFactors, including proficiency with integrations and APIs.
· Familiarity with integration platforms such as SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, and Dell Boomi.
· Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.
· Understanding of identity management solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID (formerly known as Azure AD) and Active Directory.
· Experience in MS SQL Server database administration.
· Expertise in server storage, backup, and recovery strategies.
· Knowledge of desktop virtualisation technologies, including AWS Workspaces and VDI.
Soft Skills:
· Exceptional proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing.
· Capable of employing a logical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
· Proven time management capabilities, with the ability to adhere to project timelines while juggling multiple client engagements.
· Openness to acquiring new abilities and adapting to change.
