You’ll own the development of embedded control systems and dynamic models, in both MATLAB and Simulink. Often, you’ll have the opportunity to build algorithms from a blank canvas.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering your own small projects
Owning project design and verification
Working in a fast-paced environment
Maintaining a high level of industry expertise and competitive intelligence
Liaising with internal stakeholders and customers at all levels
Building close working relationships with your direct team
The requirements
Experience in electrified propulsion systems, transmission and driveline, or powertrain testing is ideal for this role, as well as:
Degree educated in Mechanical, Electrical or Control system Engineering (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of post-grad engineering experience
Able to work from fundamental engineering principles
Detailed understanding of industry market trends and competitor capabilities
Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to maintain a strong personal impression
Strong communication, articulation and presentation skills
Able to translate complex information into simple messages
Fluent in English and French/German/Japanese/Chinese is a plus
Keen to develop personally and professionally
Flexible and willing to travel
