Robert Walters have partnered with a global FMCG organisation based in Surrey, who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join a highly supportive and fast paced team.
This Assistant Accountant will work closely the Reporting Manager from a reporting and audit perspective, supporting the FP&A and Commercial teams to provide technical analysis to drive sales and positive investment.
Other key responsibilities include:
Support with monthly reporting processes, including risk reporting.
Work closely with the commercial and FP&A teams to investigate any financial risks and rectify any issues.
Assist with submitting quarterly targets for commercial and sales teams.
Support with the monthly Balance sheet review process, ensure that costs are correctly reflecting the final performance metrics.
Work with the wider reporting team to compile data for audit sampling.
Support with analysis for quarterly and annual audit reviews.
Work with commercial and FP&A finance teams to train on reporting and audit compliance processes.
We would love to speak to candidate with the following skillset and experience:
ACA , ACCA or CIMA part-qualified would be beneficial.
Excellent Excel and ERP systems experience.
Proven reporting experience gained within a large corporate environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with commercial finance leaders and wider finance functions.
Salary on offer £40,000 - £48,000 dependent on experience as well as a bonus scheme of circa 10%. This role is being offered on a hybrid basis 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
