The role of the Designer – Aluminium Curtain Walling will involve:
* Designer position dealing with a high end range of roofing and cladding systems such as: rainscreen cladding, single ply, composite roofing and cladding, SFS and liquid applied
* Produce 2D project specific working and fabrication drawings
* Liaise regularly with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to discuss any design related queries
* Liaise with systems manufacturers and suppliers
* Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries
* Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
* Attend weekly design virtually and face to face as and when required
* Producing estimates for projects ranging in value from £2k to £1m
* Scope to progress into a Senior position
