Financial Controller

I'm excited to share that I'm working with a phenomenal events business based in Doncaster who are looking for a Financial Controller to join and lead their finance team!
This is a juicy role for someone who's really hands on and thrives off getting involved into all aspects of the wider business!
Some of the duties involve:
Preparing and delivering timely management accounts
Overseeing the financial management of each events functions
Looking at key trends inclusive of performance against budget for both revenue and costs
Hold weekly meetings to review all large and old debts
Managing a team of 3 reports inclusive of regular 1:1's and appraisal meetings
Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliation
Prepare annual statutory financial statements in line with current reporting standards and submit a detailed audit pack.
Perform a desktop review of each courses trade debtors, trade creditors and petty cash advising on any actions required.
Requirements of the role:
CIMA qualified
Previous experience in the hotel or leisure industry
Experience managing a finance team
