Why do we need you?

We’re looking for a Compliance Supervisor to join our Compliance team to support the Head of Compliance (SMF16) in the day to day management and oversight of the Compliance function, enabling it to deliver a good standard of protection for the business against regulatory risks or issues, and protect the interests of customers.

The individual must engage and partner with colleagues at all levels, particularly operational management and SMF’s to identity opportunities, and implement solutions that mitigate risk, and support the commercial strategies of the business.

What do we need you to do?

Execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan, producing accurate monitoring reports routinely and ad-hoc, on the management of key risks and effectiveness of the business’ control framework.

Ensure the business complies with its regulatory Consumer Duty requirements as well as maintaining adherence to the senior managers and certification regime policies.

Discharge all policies including but not limited to data protection and whistleblowing, ensuring business understanding and adherence to, supporting any investigation into breaches or wrongdoing.

Ensure timely delivery of informative compliance reporting and areas for escalation relating to data protection, QA, complaints, financial crime and horizon risk.

Assist senior management in maintaining the business’ risk registers, managing and tracking key risks in line with the risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) process.

Support the Head of Compliance in partnering with the key business stakeholders to ensure overall compliance and adherence to all key policies and procedures.

What skills and experience do we need you to have?

Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent report writing ability.

Strong drive to achieve and exceed against all targets and deadlines.

Good experience in a financial services compliance background.

Competent understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management models.
