Priority Plant, a prominent player in the operated road sweeper sector, is in search of a dynamic Operations Manager to join our busy transport and sales office. This pivotal role will be integral to leading our sales team, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Sales Team Leadership: Take charge of leading the sales team, setting ambitious yet achievable goals, and providing guidance and support to ensure targets are met.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with current customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty, while also proactively identifying and onboarding new customers to expand our client base.
Overseeing Systems and Processes: Manage and refine existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and streamline operations within the office.
Identifying Opportunities for Improvement: Continuously assess operations to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions to drive growth and optimize performance.
Anticipating and Tracking Risks: Proactively identify potential risks to operations and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
Providing Strategic Solutions: Leverage your expertise to provide strategic insights and solutions that align with business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
Managing Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day activities within the office, maintaining high standards of performance and efficiency.
Reporting on Project Status: Provide regular reports on the status of projects and operations, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and outcomes.
Managing Budgets and Forecasts: Take ownership of managing budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial objectives are met while optimizing resource allocation and utilization.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within the transportation or rental industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve targets and drive results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
