Role Overview:
As a fully qualified Commercial Electrician, you will play a vital role in the team, undertaking a range of electrical tasks including EICR reports, remedial repairs, maintenance, refurbishment works, and electrical installations. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, completing relevant documentation, and ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Working on void properties, schools, restaurants, retail, industrial, commercial, and offices.
Completing EICR reports and carrying out remedial repairs if necessary.
Undertaking maintenance and refurbishment works.
Conducting electrical installations in line with current regulations and legislations.
Diagnostic work including fault-finding and repair/maintenance of electrical installations.
Processing relevant documentation and ensuring timely completion of systems.
Inspecting and testing within existing installations, recording results with appropriate test certificates.
Managing and adhering to company standards, policies, codes of practice, and safe systems of work.
Additional Duties
Maintenance work.
Emergency lighting.
CCTV.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Electrician (less experienced engineers can still apply).
Clean driving license or own vehicle (all fuel expenses paid).
Enthusiastic with a willingness to work.
Flexible with good communication, writing, and numeracy skills.
Motivated with great organizational abilities, especially during busy workloads.
Strong team player.
