Senior Associate – Inquests – Leeds – Up to £70,000
The Role
Superb opportunity to join an award-winning leading international Legal 500 law firm that offers specialist quality legal advice to a broad range of Private and Healthcare clients.
Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Inquests Team, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced Associate to work alongside its existing Team dealing with a range of Health Regulatory cases.
The ideal candidate will be 5+ Years PQE and will have experience in Healthcare Regulatory with exposure to advocacy. There is a steady flow of new instructions from private care providers and NHS Resolution and the firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong lawyer with ambition, who can develop relationships and provide an exceptional level of service to its clients. All suitable candidates will be considered as full training will be provided.
The role will include handling a caseload matters including inquests, disciplinary investigations, NHSE investigations, CQC investigations and crime. The role will also include supervision of team members, and occasionally providing training to clients.
The Candidate
A Qualified Solicitor with 5+ Years PQE
Experience in Healthcare Regulatory matters
Must be able to handle a caseload from straightforward to complex matters
Strong technical and organisation skills
A pragmatic and methodical approach to handling a variety of cases
An ability to adopt a commercial perspective to legal issues
Be highly client focused.
Team orientated with a willingness to mentor, coach and supervise less experienced members
