We are excited to be recruiting the best Padel personnel for our first London Clubs. About the Role Were looking for an organised and results-driven Bar Manager to join our growing team and take charge of the Bar offering at our 5 court club in South West London, Earls Court. As the Bar Manager, your primary responsibility will be to deliver a world class food and beverage offering at the club. You will take ownership and lead relationship building with staff, suppliers, members, and guests.
The right candidate loves to work and lead cross-functionally, is able to think strategically and tactically, enjoys testing and iterating, has previous experience managing a small team, has a relentless drive, passion, and will roll up his/her sleeves to execute flawlessly. Putting values first, youll support the building of the Padel Social product as we grow, delivering both to our shareholders and our customers. A focus on driving service delivery excellence while leveraging lean processes and service in ensuring continued delivery of world class outcomes will be key to success.
Requirements:
? Experience in both food and liquor led businesses ? Strong commitment to service standards and product quality ? Good understanding of the importance of brand integrity ? Strong understanding of the London food and restaurant scene ? A passion for and extensive knowledge of food and wine ? A good knowledge of spirits and cocktails ? Enjoys networking and looking after VIP's ? Extensive network of hospitality contacts and evidence of a varied and active social life ? A naturally outgoing and theatrical personality ? Prepared to work at least 5 days a week ? Holder of a personal licence (preferred) ? Self-motivated perfectionist ? Prepared to work over and above the call of duty ? Hard working prepared to roll up sleeves and get stuck in - leads from the front and by example ? Good interpersonal skills and people management skills ? Must be customer focused and have natural customer service abilities ? Discretion when dealing with high profile and celebrity customers ? Understanding of Profit and Loss in all areas of the business
? Ability to set and follow budgets ? A strong focus on sales ? Good understanding of budgets and forecasts ? Experience and ability to manage a team of staff Responsibilities - This will include (this list is not exhaustive): ? Continually identifying opportunities for sales ? Forensic focus on food, drink and delivery standards ? Continual focus on industry beating product knowledge ? Continual development of product and offer ? Maintaining and driving service standards in all areas of the business ? Driving and developing brand story and maintaining brand identity ? Recruiting, training and developing teams ? Attendance at weekly ops, marketing and director meetings ? Sales forecasting and effective labour scheduling ? Delivering induction and legal training for all new team members ? Networking and sales creation ? Working with the floor teams to reach set targets ? Identifying key customers ? Using CRM software to build customer profiles, track visits and spends ? Maintaining and developing relationships with key clients and regular customers ? Maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers, local business and regular customers ? Developing a network of restaurant and club ambassadors ? Leading from the front, innovating and striving for excellence in all areas ? Soliciting, recording and utilising customer feedback ? Reporting any complaints / notable comments / perceived issues / altercations ? Ensuring impeccable presentation of venue, staff and self at all times ? Equal focus on sales and cost control ? Daily revenue reporting and general reporting ? Ensuring all paperwork completed to company standards ? Ensuring all cash banking and cash handling completed to company standards ? Ensuring all licensing conditions adhered to and the venue runs legally at all times ? Complying with all relevant food legislation and HACCP regulations ? Operating Company disciplinary and grievance procedure ? Complete sales and labour forecasts and follow up reports to company schedule ? Maintaining all company policies and standards at all times ? Opening and closing the venue as necessary
