The Accounts Assistant will be an integral part of the Accounting & Finance department, contributing to the financial success of a remarkable Not For Profit organisation located in Leeds. Description
Deliver accurate and timely financial reports
Manage financial transactions and document procedures
Audit financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements
Participate in budgeting processes
Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to improve financial procedures
Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensure compliance with organisational financial policies and regulations
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant hould have:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills
Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and present detailed reports
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant, Finance Officer, or equivalent role
Job Offer
A competitive salary of between £24,000 and £26,000 per annum
