Electrical architecture design:
Design of electrical interface between HVAC system, and the powertrain and other vehicle systems
Modification of HVAC system electrical architecture to suit application requirements
Software design:
Development of communications interface between HVAC system, and the powertrain and other vehicle systems, and associated HVAC system functions
Modification of HVAC system software to suit application requirements
Ensuring the design satisfies relevant regulatory requirements
Support of HVAC system manufacture, installation and commissioning on the vehicle
Conducting system function and performance tests, and analysis of results
Required Skills
Degree level qualification in an engineering discipline
Use of Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow for embedded software development
Electrical schematic design
