ROLE OVERVIEW
As Commissioning Engineer, to support the delivery of HV/LV commissioning activities for industrial, including solar generation throughout the UK.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
project commissioning schedules and maintain commissioning logs
with all contractor and subcontractors for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
to commissioning meetings and weekly commissioning activities with Contractors and clients
closely with the project, engineering and construction teams to ensure quality inspection and test plans are completed
to commissioning plans ensuring they are compliant with the appropriate external regulatory bodies
and upskilling of best practice commissioning activities
progress on all commissioning activities both internally and externally
for witnessing site acceptance tests, authorised person tests, reviewing and controlling HV and LV commissioning switching schedules and ensuring safe coordination of activities as required
for the commissioning of HV components to include protective devices, relays, CTs, VTs, switchgear, RMU’s, Transformers, Substation and ancillary equipment
for G99/G100 commissioning activities, ensuring accurate coordination and the successful connection of the project in line with the targeted dates
on completion of commissioned activities as per manufacturers processes for successful handover to the O&M team
contractors to ensure that all commissioning snags are closed out in a timely manner
commissioning documentation and collect information for the client handover pack
to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System, compliant with ISO standards
