The Role The Reporting & Analysis Accountant is a newly created role to aide decision making, direction and strategy. The position will be removed from the month-end process and the analysis & business partnering provided will be to support operation and commercial activities. The key components of the role will include:
Reporting to and deputising for the Financial Controller with a dotted line to the Commercial Director
Business partnering with senior stakeholders & departments outside finance
Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs
Commercial and operational analysis - costs, margins, KPI’s etc.
Budget, forecasting and cashflow analysis
Utilising systems and data sources to produce reports required for the Business
Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
The Mentor The Financial Controller is individual that is extremely passionate about developing aspiring finance professionals, and not only acting as a line manager but a true mentor figure. Once confidence and trust are gained with the new encumberment they will both provide a fantastic amount of freedom, visibility and autonomy for the new Reporting & Analysis Accountant express themselves & put their own stamp on the finance function. On Offer The position of Report & Analysis Accountant based in West Lothian with flexible/hybrid working options available. The role will also offer:
£45,000 - £48,000 base salary
Discretionary bonus

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:
Part qualified or qualified by experience
Ability to build relationships with non-financial stakeholders
Strong analytical and financial analysis capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
