Responsibilities:
Supporting the whole business in their quality function working with manufacturing & Goods out.
Using problem solving technique such as 8D & 5S to identify Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
Be supported to halt production in the instance of poor-quality performance.
Assist in the compliance function for audit purposes including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001
Promote the preferred method of customer reporting for APQP & CI (Including Six Sigma. Poke-Yoke etc.)
Write technical reports & present findings at management meetings.
Be the single point of contact for quality issues for customers.
Act as a leader for the wider team to promote a culture of right first time.
Ensure control plans are updated and maintained appropriately.
Developing of new and adjusting current SOPs.
Communicate clearly at all times with internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal Experience:
Coming from an automotive background.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Time Served in a similar role.
Familiar with APQP process.
Understanding of ISO9001/14001/45001 Audit process.
Strong communication skills able to negotiate, manage confrontation and explain reasoning clearly.
Able to read engineering drawings inc Datum Structures and GD&T.
3-5 Years within a Quality Management Role.
Shifts & Salary
£30,000 - £34,000
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00
