We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in industry accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. This role involves working with a dynamic team, managing various accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
Day to Day of the Role:
Process and reconcile payments, ensuring import/export compliance, particularly within the EU (Essential)
Generate and review monthly and annual financial reports.
Maintain compliance with internal accounting procedures and review work to correct any mistakes.
Understand the overall impact of financial decisions within the company.
Work effectively within a team environment and manage a range of accounting functions.
Create policies and risk reports, managing bank relationships, and conducting financial analysis.
Handle month-end close under strict deadlines and perform complex intercompany reconciliations.
Prepare and submit VAT returns, liaise with HMRC, and manage multi-currency, multi-location, and shared service accounting tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting (M.Com, AAT, ACCA, or ACA).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role within the industry.
Strong analytical skills and financial reporting knowledge dealing with the EU
Proficiency in Microsoft NAV or Business Central.
Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel & Outlook.
Experience with AP, AR, Bank Reconciliations, and VAT compliance.
Ability to work well in a team and manage team activities.
Experience working in a multi-currency, multi-location, and shared service environment.
